FFP1793 Fire & Lifesafety Educator I

Course Description:  This course provides the outline and background information necessary for the students to understand the role and responsibilities of a fire and life safety educator. Students will learn how to analyze “at risk” groups within the community, i.e., seniors, children and handicapped, and develop fire and life safety programs specific to those needs. The student will design and deliver both oral and written presentations to members of the public and private sectors of their communities.
