Countywide Countywide Physical Ability Test

Course Description:  The Countywide Physical Ability Test includes a 7 minute standard PAT and a swimming test. You must know how to swim in order to take the Countywide PAT. This qualifies as the required PAT for many area Fire Departments. Once you successfully complete all portions of the Countywide PAT you will receive a certificate of completion, which is valid for one (1) year from the date issued.

You must submit a current medical form, signed and dated by a doctor, within one year of the test.

Dress code - shorts and t-shirt, work gloves (not required) and sneakers for the PAT portion. You must wear pants and a t-shirt for the swim portion. Yoga pants, leggings, work-out leggings, spandex & scrubs are not permitted.
