Course Description:  This 40-hour course is the basis for conducting safe and systematic operations at technical rescue incidents safely and effectively based on hazard analysis, risk assessment, training level of personnel, and availability of internal and external resources.

At a successful completion of the Operations Level, the candidate will have an understanding of the functions and developments of NFPA 1670 8.3 and NFPA 1006, Standards for Technical Rescuer Professional Qualifications.

These standards will provide the candidate with the ability to conduct hazard analysis, risk assessment and perform the operational level functions of vehicle machinery rescue.
