Section I - Personal Information
Instructions:
1. Please fill in the sections appropriate to the program for which you are applying:
a. Jewish Studies(JS) Applicants complete sections I-IV, then submit the application at the bottom of the page. (This includes those applying to the Master of Jewish Studies, Certificate in Jewish Studies or Rabbinic Writings, and Student at Large);
b. Rabbinic Studies(RS) Applicants complete Sections I-V, then submit the application.
c. Language Students: Applicants complete sections I-IV, then submit the application at the bottom of the page. (This includes those applying for a Certificate in Biblical Hebrew, Student at Large or a Special Status Language Student.)
2. Along with this application, please submit:
a. The $50.00 application fee;
b. Academic transcripts from an accredited college;
c. Two recommendations: one written educational recommendation attesting to your academic ability and one personal recommendation attesting to your leadership qualities and/or your dedication to study of Scripture and tradition. Recommendation forms are available at http://www.mjti.org/forms.
d. References may be submitted to the registrar via email admin@mjti.org or sent to MJTI P.O. Box 94 Milan, MI 48160.
